Frans Timmermans argued this week that the crisis is a chance to change Europe, pushing his Green Deal. I'm very much pro-Europe (and very much pro-Green Deal), but it seems to me the crisis has laid bare the inherent weakness of the EU and there's a chance we're witness to the end of the European project. The cartoon is based on a magic realist painting by Dutch painter Carel Willink.
